  • Smooth action – With twenty sealed ball bearings throughout the frame and pivot points you won’t feel ‘clunky’ when you use this bike as you will always feel smooth and in control with each movement. It makes the whole experience feel more elegant as you glide your arms and legs in rhythm without feeling uneven or off balance.
  • High user weight – The Air Bike often has more room, similar to a recumbent bike, allowing you to get on and off with ease. To go with that, this bike also has a high user weight limit, 350 pounds, allowing for larger users to get the same benefits from this bike without worrying about its safety or durability.

What We Like

The 6 way adjustable (and extra padded seat) is a huge plus and really helps you to feel comfortable when using the bike. While some of the more advanced Crossfit users often stand as they use the air bike for shorter sprint work, comfort is still a huge part for the rest of us and is something that shouldn’t be overlooked. Especially when using the bike for longer periods such as following one of the built-in programs.

The Assault Air Bike ensures you always feel stable, secure and supported when working out, making it our favorite feature overall.

What We Didn’t Like

We loved the bike as it does exactly what it’s supposed to, however, if there was one thing we would like to see, it would be a media tray to hold your devices while you work out.

You won’t be using this machine like a normal spin bike and therefore you won’t spend masses of time watching something on your phone or listening to music, but the ability to store your items when working out such as keys or your phone is always something that we want to see and actually welcome on exercise machines.

Final verdict

Most people have a love-hate relationship with the Air Bike, it provides a great workout, but it’s also extremely challenging and testing. 5 minutes on here can break you or make you feel like a world-beater and that is exactly why people love it.

If you’re looking to work on your fitness and you want a quick and easy way to work on your cardio, burn calories and make all-round improvements to your body then the Assault Air Bike is for you.

This machine does exactly what you ask of it and you won’t ever feel short-changed after a workout as you get out what you put in.

It’s well designed, strong, secure and also offers up great resistance so honestly, what’s not to love about a bike like that?

The assault Air Bike is just as good as it claims to be and is certainly worth purchasing if you’re looking for a great way to burn calories.
