With an efficient 3 in 1 design, combining the benefits of a treadmill, elliptical and stepper machine (while also burning more calories), the Bowflex Treadclimber could be what you’ve been looking for.
Designed for low impact exercisers, the TC100 works in a unique way, meaning you don’t have to run or even jog to burn calories. Just from walking at a very brisk pace you will actually burn MORE calories, without feeling as tired on this revolutionary machine.
This makes it perfect for anyone struggling with injuries or who may be new to exercise and could be the workout you’ve been missing.

Read on to find out what we thought of the Bowflex Treadclimber TC100.
What is the Bowflex TC100?
The Bowflex TreadClimber TC100 is an exercise machine from reputable fitness equipment provider Bowflex and has proven to be a hit.
Already a top seller, the TC100 combines 3 machines into 1, providing a safe and effective low impact workout that is easier on the joints in comparison to traditional cardio alternatives, however just because it’s a lower impact, does not mean it’s less effective.
The TC100 uses two separate moving belts (like that of a treadmill) which move in an up and down fashion to give you maximum results, without ever having to run.
The end result is a fantastic workout that claims to burn calories 2.5 times faster than traditional cardio methods.
Features
The TC100 combines the motions of a treadmill, a stepper and an elliptical for an easy, low-impact workout, with high-impact results and comes equipped with a range of different features, making it easy for you to get into the best shape of your life.
What we like about the TC100
The unique and innovative design, taking the benefits from a stepper, treadmill and elliptical, allows for a low impact workout that doesn’t compromise calories, and we love it.
The fact that the TC100 has been proven to burn more calories than if you were to walk or jog alone makes it even more impressive and a great piece of kit for anyone new to exercise or who simply likes to walk.
The larger panel at the front, with media rack and USB charging ports, were also big positives in our book and make the prospect of watching something on your tablet or listening to music on your phone even more appealing, as you know you’ll have battery life leftover once you’ve finished.
Finally, the compact design, taking up minimal space, was also something we appreciated, making it perfect for those living in smaller spaces.
What we didn’t like about the TC100
As with anything, there are always going to things that can be improved upon.
The Bowflex TreadClimber TC100 doesn’t come with any built-in workout programs like some of the other models available and there are no wireless heart rate monitoring options on this model which would have been a nice feature.
While it is designed walking and for low impact exercise, possibly even novice exercisers, it would be nice to have a faster top speed on the TC100, similar to other models that reach up to 4.5mph or maybe even above.
We aren’t sure how the motion of the belts would work but if there was an option to jog or run, that would be great too, meaning that as your fitness improves you can continue to challenge yourself if you wish.
Final verdict
The Treadclimber 3 in 1 machines are best sellers and for good reason, the enjoyable nature of the workouts and the fact that you can burn more calories than traditional cardio machines, make the TC100 a great piece of kit and very attractive to users.
Although not ideal for runners (as the top speed isn’t enough) the TC100 is perfect for new or novice exercisers looking to get in shape without adding more stress to their joints, especially the knees which can take a pounding on a normal treadmill.
With an innovative design and an ability to get proven results, the TC100 is a great machine and something we definitely recommend for anyone looking to improve their fitness and get into better shape.
If you need something new to kickstart your fitness, or even add to the equipment you already have, then you can check out the TC100 Treadclimber
